本作は、日本ジャズ界が誇るベースのマエストロ・井上陽介によるキャリア初のソロプレイ集です。ジャズのスタンダードはもとよりスティーヴィー・ワンダーからエリック・サティにいたるジャンルを超えた多彩な楽曲を、瑞々しい音色と豊かな表現力で紡いでいきます。コントラバスならではの深く芳醇な音色と、静と動のダイナミズムを感じられる音楽をお楽しみいただける作品です。東京・南青山の岡本太郎のアトリエで収録しました。

This is the first solo performance album by the maestro bassist Yosuke Inoue, who is a pride of the Japanese jazz scene. He performs a wide variety of music that transcends genres, from jazz standards to Stevie Wonder and Erik Satie, with beautiful tone and rich expressiveness. You can enjoy the deep, mellow tone of the double bass and music that exudes dynamism of stillness and movement. Recorded at Taro Okamoto's atelier at Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.
